Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Breakfast was very good as expected. Lunch/dinner had limited options, but were very good and choice was adequate. The tent was spacious enough. Staff escort for movement after dark was efficient. An added attraction was the location by the side of the river, providing beautiful scenery in the serene atmosphere.
Negative: I booked my vehicle for the journey to and from Nairobi through the hotel. The charges were high, but the safari vehicle was not suitable for a long journey. Fixed vertical seatbacks, broken arm rests, tough-to-roll window glasses etc made it uncomfortable. The saving grace was that the driver cum guide Eric was superb.
